Corporate Social Responsibility

At Cable Manufacturers, we recognise that our social, environmental and ethical conduct has an important impact. We are therefore committed to our role as a responsible corporate citizen in Malawi and take these duties very seriously.  These include good ethical behaviour, concern for employee health and safety, care for the environment and community involvement.

Community Involvement

Since our earliest days, in an effort to contribute to our community, we have distributed free starter packs across Malawi, in the following areas: Blantyre, Lilongwe, Mdeka, Zomba, Machinga, Mangochi, Lilongwe, Salima, Mtakataka, Phalombe, Mulanje and Balaka.

We have also been involved in various projects to provide communities with much-needed resources to thrive and meet basic needs. These include the supply of roofing sheets in Alimkaipo, construction of hand-dug boreholes in Lumbadzi as well as toilets in Mdeka and the development of mosques in Mdeka and Ndirande.

Additionally, we have helped ensure children get an education through the development of twin block classrooms in Chimwankhunda, as well as paying for school fees for students in need and supplying essential items to a madressah in Kamwendo.
